I didnt think our TV recommendation would be another Sci-Fi Production, but it looks like A.I. has both Hollywood’s and the people’s attention, which would explain the success of HBO’s ‘Westworld’.

The story takes place in ‘Westworld’, a fictional, technologically advanced Wild West–themed amusement park populated by Android ‘hosts’. Westworld Theme Park caters to high-paying guests, who may indulge in whatever fantasy they wish within the park, without fear of retaliation from the Android hosts.

The hosts are used as props and playthings to support guests’ experiences, while the audience watches them develop something like consciousness. As the show and this budding consciousness unfold, the hosts begin to question the nature of their existence and their purpose in the park.

The Androids of WestWorld take a major step toward human-level consciousness when they gain the ability to remember. These Sci-Fi examples remind us that as individuals, we are collectors of memories. Each of our memories is unique, and is the basis of not only our Humanity but Individual Identity as well.

Westworld has received a lot of well-deserved critical acclaim, and is definitely one of the best shows out currently, with Season 2 in the works, and slated for a 2018 release.

In addition to ‘Westworld’, Netflix also released its own Sci-Fi gem, ‘Black Mirror’ as well as the gritty ‘El Chapo’, a Portrait of infamous Mexican Druglord, El Chapo Guzman.

Thats our TV recommendation which was way overdue, next up is some Sport, which is also overdue. Meanwhile, if you havent done so already, make some time for Westworld, Black Mirror and El Chapo…..You wont regret it.

Peep the Westworld reviews and commentaries below.

By exploring the ‘freedom journeys’ of Delores and Maeve, two Westworld host Androids that have developed consciousness and act on their ‘Inner Voices’ to obey or follow it within the Amusement Park in their ‘individual’ quests for freedom and ‘meaning’, Westworld in some ways takes the AI discussion into relatively new territory following where it ended with the release of ‘Ex Machina’ and ‘Ghost In The Shell’.

Enjoy……One!!
